Idetix eScore Tools is a simple, but comprehensive, set of database access, assimilation and manipulation tools that facilitate the secure "federation" of diverse, disparate and distributed information sets in the most efficient possible manner.  The software enables average web programmers to quickly develop web pages (html) that merge and manipulate information stored in multiple databases of different types and other data sources, via a simple and easy to use "tag-based scripting language", minimizing the involvement of expensive Database Administrators.  An ad-hoc demonstration web application (Ferret) is included which allows authorized users to quickly connect to their databases and begin merging information from remote, disparate databases.

One of the key differentiators of Idetix eScore Tools is that it enables access directly from html web pages (2-layer architecture) instead of using some kind of "middleware" (3-layer architecture) to accomplish the accessing and merging of data.  This results in significant performance advantages and dramatically reduces costs, time and effort to build and maintain the applications.
